Telling Stories: Parker's Anchor

Here at Creation Studios, we are constantly pursuing the art of telling stories that will positively impact the lives of the people that witness them. Sometimes, this means helping other people tell their own story.

I spent New Year’s and the first couple of weeks of 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas working on the set of the feature film, Parker’s Anchor, as the 1st Assistant Director. The film is being produced by Purpose Pictures out of California, and I had the honor of serving on their crew with about thirty others.

After putting in roughly 250 hours over the course of seventeen days, I can honestly say that the film will be one to enjoy, but beyond that, it will be one to cherish and share because of the tremendously positive and true-to-life journey the story will take the audience on. Experiencing the story myself on set was powerful to say the least, and I can’t wait for the premiere. The world-class cast and crew made the experience one to remember and revisit.
